ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

The philosophy of this website is twofold. Metal Haven is a retail outlet catering purely to heavy metal fans.

Given the store’s success in cultivating its customer base and adapting to that base’s taste, it seems only natural that the store’s electronic arm operate with similar principles. The website, essentially, is a mirror of the retail store. Our selection is based on the collective taste of Chicago metal heads, and we offer that same selection to the world on a mailorder basis via this website.

However, the fact remains that metal is itself far more important than the internet. Metal eats the internet for breakfast. And you know this.

This is not a graphically advanced or otherwise flashy website, but we believe it is a readable, fast, and accurate one. The point is that you know what we have for sale. We are too busy wheeling and dealing in metal to be bothered with scanning album cover after album cover, posting soundclips, or hosting a message board. Metal Haven offers the most metal at the best price.
